Featured in Design Week Mexico and New York Design Week.Silla Tellar was a joint project between design collaborative Segundo Piso (Dominic Rishe, Sarah Mann, and myself) with Teotitlán del Valle, Oaxaca based weaver Susi Vicente.

The chair was born out of conversations with Susi about labor, care, and rest. The resulting chair design blends elements of Susi’s workshop being an expression of both work and leisure.
